Ruth Patrick Science Education Center -- The Ruth Patrick Science Education Center in Aiken offers a planetarium, observatory, a traveling science program, and summer camps.

South Carolina BioHistory -- Learn about significant milestones in the historical development of South Carolina's biotechnology & medical technology industry.

South Carolina Junior Academy of Science (SCJAS) -- The South Carolina Junior Academy of Science is the only state-wide organization of high school students designed to stimulate and promote interest among its members through the development of independent research in science and mathematics.

South Carolina Science Olympiad -- The Science Olympiad is an international nonprofit organization devoted to improving the quality of science education, increasing student interest in science and providing recognition for outstanding achievement in science education by both students and teachers. These goals are accomplished through classroom activities, research, training workshops and the encouragement of intramural, district, regional, state and national tournaments.

South Carolina State Museum -- The South Carolina State Museum in Columbia offers exhibits about cultural history, art, science and technology, and natural history. Science exhibits include laser technology, a space science gallery, and a transportation technology area.
